Thoroughbred® released version 8.8.0 in September 2013. Version 8.8.0 has enhancements, new features and upgrades that support the newest Operating Systems.

Version 8.8.0 is the only Thoroughbred Environment tested and compatible with Windows 8 and Server 2012. It is compatible with Windows XP to Windows 8, and Server 2008 and 2012. This release also supports the newest 32-bit and 64-bit kernels of the Linux, UNIX and OS X operating systems.

When upgrading systems to the 8.8.0 Thoroughbred Environment, OPENworkshop® or T-WEB™ there may be upgrades of other Thoroughbred products required as well.

These can include:

• TbredComm™
• VIP for Dictionary-IV®
• TS ODBC DataServer™
• TS DataServer™ for MS SQL Server
• TS DataServer™ for MySQL
• TS DataServer™ for Oracle
• and others

It is best to check with your Thoroughbred representative as to the compatible upgrade path.
